Management and Business Positions

For those of you interested in joining one of our SUPERVALU companies in retail management, here are a few representative positions to consider:

General Manager: In this senior-level role, you’ll direct the operations of a key retail market to ensure strong customer satisfaction, employee loyalty, increased sales and profitability.

Category Analyst: You’ll analyze customer-specific, market and consumer data in order to make business-building recommendations and develop high-quality supporting presentations. You’ll also use your expertise to determine shelf space management objectives.

Store Manager: As Store Manager, you’ll direct overall store business, including managing performance against financial objectives, collaborating on merchandising and pricing programs, monitoring staffing and productivity, promoting customer acceptance and collaborating with technical support.
